APIP, represented by Pedro Paes do Amaral, Executive Vice-President, and Cátia Morais, Communications Manager, attended the Inauguration Ceremony presided over by Architect Marlene Fragoso Guillén, President of ANIPAC A.C., Adrian Lopez Ruiz, Managing Director of Informa Markets - Mexico, Gabriel Santos, President of AMEE (Asociación Mexicana de Envase y Embalaje), Lic. Raúl Mendoza, General Director of ANIPAC, Gertrudis Mercado Cruz, General Director of Light Industries of the Secretariat of Economy (SE), Mariana Albarrán Flores, Sustainability Leader of Braskem Idesa and John D. Breidenstine, Minister-Counselor for Commercial Affairs at the US Embassy in Mexico.



At this fair, APIP promoted the Plastics Summit - Global Event 2025 (PSGE 2025), the largest sustainability and circular economy event in the sector, organized by APIP with the support of its Brazilian counterparts, ABIPLAST - Associação Brasileira da Indústria do Plástico/ABIEF - Associação Brasileira da Indústria de Embalagens Plásticas Flexíveis, Spanish, ANAIP and Mexican, ANIPAC A.C.


The event, which brought together more than 1,000 people in its first edition, returns to Lisbon on October 6, 2025, with new themes, challenges and scientific knowledge.


At the opening of the event, part of the opening ceremony delegation stopped by the APIP stand, as did Natalia Ortega from Plastics Technology Mexico - Revista, one of the Moderators of the next edition of PSGE 2025!
