The event was attended by Pedro Paes do Amaral, Executive Vice-President of APIP and Executive Vice-President of WUPA, who used this important international platform to promote the organisation’s vision, objectives and collaboration opportunities among industry leaders, trade associations and key stakeholders from around the world.
WUPA’s mission is to strengthen international cooperation among plastics associations while promoting sustainability and the circular economy, science-based communication and advocacy, innovation, competitiveness and sustainable development, as well as stronger global representation of the plastics industry before international institutions and stakeholders.
During the exhibition, Pedro Paes do Amaral met with Matt Seaholm, CEO of the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS), to present WUPA’s vision and strategic priorities and to explore potential areas for future cooperation.
He also met with Jayesh Khimji Rambhia, Honorary Chairman of Plastivision India and representative of AIPMA India, one of the associations already affiliated with WUPA. The meeting further strengthened the shared commitment to building a stronger, more collaborative and representative global voice for the plastics industry.
